*A little wedding day update!
We noticed a small error in the church address printed on our invitations! Our ceremony will be held at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, 28 E Montezuma Ave, Cortez, CO. Everything else remains the same. We can't wait to celebrate with you on October 10th!
Where are the ceremony and reception located?
The ceremony will take place at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Parish.
The reception will be held at a secondary location (address found in the invitation suite).
More detailed directions and information will be shared as the date approaches, please check back for updates!
What is the schedule for the day?
The ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM. Following the ceremony, guests are welcome to grab a light lunch or take some time to relax before the evening festivities. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by dinner, drinks, dancing, and celebration. A more detailed schedule will be provided closer to the wedding date in a downloadable PDF here on our website.
What should I wear?
We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. As our ceremony will be held in a Catholic church, we encourage modest clothing (covered shoulders and appropriate length). We also encourage neutral and earth tone colors to match our wedding theme, but this is not required.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes early to allow time for seating before the ceremony begins. Please note that street parking is available, but be sure to allow extra time to find parking.
What should I know about the ceremony?
Our ceremony will take place in a Catholic church and will include a traditional Mass. All guests are more than welcome to attend, regardless of faith, and a guide outlining the order of the Mass will be provided to help you follow along. You are not expected to participate in prayers, but we kindly ask that guests be respectful and follow along with sitting, standing, and kneeling when appropriate.
What should I know about the reception?
Our reception will be held at a venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy. As the sun sets, it may get chilly outside, so we recommend bringing a jacket or something warm for the evening.
Are children invited?
We love children and they are absolutely welcome to join us for both the ceremony and the reception. As our ceremony is a traditional Catholic Mass, it may be a bit long for little ones, so we welcome you to bring quiet distractions (such as books, coloring, quiet snacks, etc.) to help keep them comfortable. We kindly ask that children remain as quiet as possible during the ceremony, and if needed, that parents step out briefly to ensure a respectful environment for all. At the reception, we’ll have fun treats and games to help keep them entertained!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that no photos be taken during the Mass out of respect for the sacredness of the ceremony. A professional photographer will be present, so no one will miss out on capturing these special moments. During the reception, however, we would love for you to take and share as many photos as you’d like!
Do you have a registry?
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. We do have a small registry for those who feel led to contribute a gift. We would also love for each guest to bring a card with their best marriage advice, favorite memories, prayers, or words of wisdom for us as we begin this new chapter together. We will have a special box at the reception to collect them, and we look forward to reading them for years to come!
Where should I send the registry gifts?
Most items on our registry are linked to our shipping address, giving you the option to have gifts sent directly to us or to your own home. If you happen to come across an item without a shipping address attached, simply contact Braden or Zoya (970-759-5510), and we'll be happy to help make sure it gets to us if that is your preference.
Thank you so much for your generosity and for celebrating this special season with us!
Will transportation from the ceremony to reception be provided?
Transportation details will be provided closer to the wedding date.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes! We will be serving dinner and drinks at the reception- come hungry and ready to celebrate!
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to accommodate any dietary needs. Please let us know of any restrictions when you RSVP.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes! We will be serving a variety of drinks at the reception open bar style. Please enjoy and celebrate with us responsibly.
